Today we spent the morning at Aver Berd shooting in GNSS points to correct the drone image of the fortress site. We shot in several points around the fortress as well as down below it in the settlement area. We also spent some time looking for surface collections to better date the site, but we were unable to find any. After lunch, we spent time at Berdichainer selecting, painting, and entering into ArcGIS several points to enter with the GNSS tomorrow when we also hope to take drone images. We successfully collected some sherds from two existing holes in the fortress itself. Tomorrow we expect to be returning here first.
