Today was a solid day in T44. Not much to report other than our wall is in fact a wall and we just may have a corner! This could suggest that the area south of the wall is in fact the interior of a room. We began the process of enlarging the trench and will likely continue to do so over the course of the next few days. Given that part of our wall continues into the northern baulk and the other part seems to turn west, we will likely enlarge in both directions.
Our north-south wall definitely has a second course! We will see what unfolds over the course of the next few days, but here's hoping for a room not a mere terrace wall.
In other news, Amy and I discovered (alright re-discovered) the ice cream bar at gnintunik. Nothing like an evening stroll for ice cream to make a nice Aparan night. Ani also found her inner paleolithic and added mud handprints to the side of the house.
