Today we kept excavating locus 7 along the E side of T45, which was started as an attempt of deep sounding in order to clarify the thickness of the subsoil deposit (excavated as locus 2, 4, 5, 6) and hopefully detect bedrock. However, we uncovered a series of stones likely belonging to a wall (locus 8) along the E profile. We then decided to expand the excavation of locus 7 by another 1m towards the W in order to extend the working area around locus 8. We also eventually removed the boulder located in the NE corner.
The materials from locus 7 are mostly EB.
