July 7, 2018. This morning I used the 10% acetic acid (vinegar) to remove as much clacite as possible from the crania, right os coxa, and left humerus. It works decently. Parts of the ectocranial surface are still completely encased. It may fall off in a few years....
The afternoon was photo taking time.
Based on what I can see from the sutures and looking at the right auricular surface (i used the left last year) and taking into account the preservation, I revised the age down to 45-50.
The shaft of the left femur was not washed with water or vinegar in order to sample for isotopes in the future.
