Well today was the rain day that could have been. I think we all were expecting to call a quits around 10am but that never happened. It's too bad to because it would have spared me many a frustration...
The tetris-like situation continues. Ruben insisted on opening a "probe" off the SE corner of the unit to see if the terracing wall continues. To the surprise of absolutely no one it does. I think he wants me to chase it around the entire hill.
It clearly poured last night at Gegharot and since the operation was totally saturated, I went along with Ruben's plan to pass the time. We also added a 2m western expansion to try and rectify the probe in the SW. Basically we moved a bunch of dirt today and cleaned some rocks. I am pretty frustrated with the whole situation especially when the clock is ticking if we actually are going to excavate the possible room the cultural levels.
