Narrative

We will continue to remove locus 20 today and to clean locus 21. Weather is clear and much warmer today. I hope that today's excavations will find some end to the large boulder in the SE corner of locus 20 which seems to be taking over the trench.

Work today has revealed that locus 21 plunges sharply below locus 20 and locus 20 is extremely deep. The boulders have continued to expand from the SE corner.

The discovery of a pit feature and another promising rock formation containing a ceramic stamp have necessitated the further extension of NT2 to the north. These features/artifacts have Irartian or Yerevandid potential. A 2/5 has been laid in parallel to and adjoining the first 3/5 extension to NT2.
