Today was the last day of excavations in T46. We completed the removal of locus 11 and locus 18. Wall 1 clearly appears to be standing against bedrock and to be most likely a reinforcement structure. However, Wall 2, of which the foundations were also laid on bedrock, appears to be an independent stone structures. The function of this wall is still unclear, especially because T46 could not be sufficiently extended in order to clarify the situation. Its connection to Wall 1 is also rather unclear, except for the fact that W1 is stratigraphically later than W2. Final pictures were taken and every locus in the operation was officially closed. Tomorrow there will be final photos by drone.
