We started the day by continuing to expose more of the stone floor in locus 5 of WSC2. After cleaning these rocks I decided to extend the trench 2 meters to the SW in the hopes of tracking the continuation of the stone floor. Ian's workers helped us move a large boulder that was in the way. We spent the rest of the day removing topsoil and starting through the wash of this extension (locus 6). In WSE we're still moving through interminable layers of brown silt wash. Because of the rains and the incline of the trench it's been very difficult to detect soil color changes. We're still in locus 2. Will ask Ruben to take a look tomorrow. Decent quantitles of ceramics emerging from WSE locus 2.
