It was a good day at the Tsagh west settlement. In WSE, we continued through locus 3 and found several pieces of a "cheese strainer" or large vessel with holes. Sherds of other storage vessels found as well. Another carbon sample was found in locus 3, just beside these large vessels. Laura took a part of the vessel's base to do a wash. We collected soil from the area as wcll. She also took a small cosmetic bowl found in the same area to do a wash. In WSC2 we started a new locus (10) to mark the top of the floor. As we excavated we exposed more of the stone floor as well as the continuation of the aligned rocks parallel to the NW wall. Good carbon sample collected. Also cleaned the continuation of two courses of the NW wall.
