A shovel was stolen last night which resulted in some tension in the morning because I scolded my workers for not taking their shovels home as I had asked them to do after Ian's workers' shovels were taken. We continued in locus 3, this time screening. High quantities of ceramics still coming from this locus. I think we may have missed the top of the next locus, a lighter brown silt. Will check tomorrow. In WSC2 we mostly cleaned the stone floor and the areas around it. The floor extends to the SW baulk. Not as clear what's going on in the south corner where there's mostly a light brown silt just above an orange clay level. Then along the SW baulk there are two rows of rocks, slightly higher than the stone floor and not as flat. There is a gap between these rocks and the stone floor. Will excavate this tomorrow. Along the NW wall there is a row of rocks that seems to be bounding apart two other areas. Will excavate these strips tomorrow. Today I expanded WSC2 1.3 meters to the northwest to find the exterior of the NW wall. This is locus 11. Situation is much like that between WSC and WSJb-uncertain. The second row of rocks is made of much larger boulders than the NW wall, but it's still not clear where the exterior of the wall is. Between the two rows of rocks we have a decent quantity of materials in a medium brown silt.
