Today is partly cloudy with steady winds. We will continue to remove locus 30 to completely expose locus 31. Dark stains in locus 30 from yesterday will also be investigated.
It appears that the dark stains that appear just on the surface of locus 31 are the base of the burrow runs encountered earlier. They have been mapped for refrence and locus 30 is now completely excavated in the northern NT2 extensions. Ceramics popping out of the top of locus 31 seem to belong almost certainly to an LB layer.
