Remeasured elevation for end of locus 2 in T16A. I also took end elevation for locus T16A. Today we moved the large rock with a special truck. It is now out of T16A. We took a new datum point called Big Rock Datum on the new liberated rock. We continued clearing rocks from the eastern section . It is starting to look like we don't have a wall there after all. In this area, under the rock fall we found a polished stone, a mortar, and a small jar stopper.
Because we had twice the amount of workers we started taking down locus 2 in T16B. I highly suspect that the workers in T16B were missing a lot of artifacts. The only artifacts in the bags were things I collected while passing through. Bronze rings alone do not make archaeology. We need crappy ceramics too.
