Today we laid out the trench - North Terrace, Operation 1. It is oriented N-S and E-W, which will make the drawings nice and easy. Dimensions are 5x10, with a meter baulk in between. The northern half of the trench with be NT01A, while the southern half is NTOIB. There is significant slope in this area, so leveling will be one of the first priorities. We are working on removing the topsoil and some wash in A - for now B is untouched. At the end of the day, A is still not level - the NE corner is severely depressed. No datum yet, so I am using the SW corner to take elevations.
