A very pleasant day despite an early shabbash due to a rain storm.
We spent the entire day clearing rocks from both areas A + C.
A7 is a very VERY intriguing locus with crazy soils and ashy areas peeking up, and perhaps burned wood or textiles spread about. We still have to clear at least half the trench, so we'll be in this locus for some time now.
C8 is also still in process, with continued stone clearing. Same story- some nice materials coming out but also a lot of crappy pieces. Today we cleared off the NE area and came down on what might be a flagstone floor, hopefully.
I'm really looked forward to uncovering more of these mysteries on Monday! Viva la Titty Pig!
