Narrative

An extremely hazy and warmer morning today with a slight breeze. We are continuing our 10cm pass today in search of an end to the stubbornly persistent locus 31 ash layer.

We have uncovered two new rocks today, rooted in bedrock, on the east side of the northern trench extendsions. They sit south of the boulders under Magdu boulder. Ceramics and burnt earth (ash) sit north of these rocks, directly on bedrock.

On the wn the west side of the northern trench extendsions we have markedley increased bone densities today. These bones come from the same area as the orange pockets mentioned yesterday. Many of them are also encrusted with dirt(?).
