Today we cleaned off/swept the southern quadrant. We then started the western quadrant. AVH found an EB sherd with handle in the NW area, at a depth of -86cm from the center point and 1.70m from the NW unit line. We found more sherds in the SW of the quadrant. The soil matrix is different in this quadrant. It is loose and forms small balls. So far there is little clay. There are some large stones in the NW that look like they are out of place--either slid or otherwise disturbed.
