Narrative

This morning we worked on cleaning and defining locus 3 (stones, capstone, etc.) of the northern quadrant and then ATS and RB took photos. The workers began taking off the small stones of locus 1 of the western quadrant, while AVH and MEM drew scale maps of the north-west section of the northern quadrant. On the eastern part of the northern quadrant there was a different matrix - very soft, sandy, yellow-red with some chalky inclusions (from the stones ?)... it comes of the section when touched. Most of the matrix on the west is comparatively hard, compact, brown with gravel inclusions.

In the western quadrant there were some larger stones under the smaller ones of locus 1 and then soil.
