Partly cloudy and chilly temperatures today with very strong winds. We begin excavations in trench C10 today with the removal of its Hellenistic period wall. The boulders and soil of the wall are taken out as one locus (locus 50).
Additional photos necessitated a fresh cleaning of rocks and soil from the trench. Leftover artifacts from C10 locus 12 (left in one of the carved basins) were collected.
With the wall halfway excavated we have left at midday due to wind. Artifact densities are light so far.
