Hot, clear and good weather today as we remove rocks in southern E542 to clean the wall section. Locus E514 is completely removed above floor E537- this has invovled the removal of locus E550 in the trench's northeast corner where a nice handmade vessel was collected. We've also discovered pot E551 in E545. Today's work also invovled initiating a new cut (locus E552) against the shrine terracing wall. By accident, the workers exposed vessel E553, to the west of our new E552 cut.
