In WSK I took final photos but because of shadows I need to take them again. Unfortunately the large boulders from the wall fell into the trench, which also ruins the photos, but not worth breaking just for photo. We also continued to excavate in WSAR. Switched to locus 2, a medium brown silt wash below topsoil. WSL continues to be complicated. Today I redefined locus 9 and locus 6 (see daily plan) but didn't excavate either. Worked only in locus 7, which seems to be a pit full of carbon and clay specks, sherds with carbon residue, and strange hunks of lime (?). We're really not sure what these are. One seems to be an artifact-a sherd with a lime/plaster head with what seem to be facial features. Not certain though. Also found a shell here. Will continue in locus 7 on Monday.
