Narrative

Adam and Ruben were at Tsagh today. We chatted about WSL and the situation between the walls. Are the slightly subterranean walls? It seem like the wall is made of multiple courses from the interior of the rooms, but from the exterior the is only one substantial course before we reach a clay packed surface, seemingly of the passageway. So the clay surface of the passageway is what is holding up the wall, maybe. We found a modern piece of elastic in locus 15 today, which caused great panic at first until we realize we had a rodent burrow that started higher up (whole visible in north baulk). Also an area with decomosing sod which adds to the rodent burrow hypothesis. Just to the N/NW of the burrow we found a complete vessel resting on what is probably a floor, marked by a packed yellow clay (not everywhere) with a brown clay over it. The vessel is locus 19 and the floor is locus 20.
