Continued in WSL locus 20. Very unsure what is happening here. The large boulders of the NE wall is floating on the brown clay of this locus yet the passageway theory is looking less likely since this cultural level continues to go down with considerable material quantities, especially bone. Plus there are a series of rock clusters, some of which might be intentional, but it's hard to see what sort of features these might be. Some rocks removed. Lots of carbon specks and two samples large enough to collect. Yellow clay emerging everywhere beneath the brown clay but a very irregular surface. In WSM I changed to locus 2 to mark a medium brown silt, which seems a bit rocky and airated.
