Narrative

Cool weather today with threatening clouds. We must prepare the architecture further today for the arrival of institute members - cleaning rock seams, fallen wall soil, and moving backdirt/rocks. I also hope to draw the west C8 section view today.

With the architecture being cleaned and the backdirt neatened up, I have been able to draw the C8 west section. At the same time, we continue to dig the locus 34 ash layer. I am increasingly convinced that the rocks on top of locus 34 are not architectural due to the form of the stone arrangements and the sheer volume of ceramics in the locus.
