Spent today opening up T2E and evaluating erosion/preservation differences from the end of last season. The buttressing and backfilling accomplished as the end of the 2005 season seems to have held very well. We are starting this year from locus E600, which constitutes the dirt deposited as backfill in August 2005. In cleaning the backfill from our EB room (locus E552) we are removing some of the EB clay floor as E601. Work in the LB, NE corner of T2E is limited to clearing the backfill and plastic, but materials accidentally collected from under this plastic are being collected as locus E602. Our plan as of now is to work west from locus E601 exposing the entire floor of the EB room and then its relationship with the EB terrace walls.
