Today began with the removal of the locus E625 floor from its most northern extent adjacent to the locus E609 wall to it southern edge 1m from the southern trench wall. This allowed the extension of the construction debris locus E626 all the way to the locus E616 western room wall. We continue to recover healthy ceramic frequencies of numerous different types as well as several small finds from this large and deep locus of sandy silt. We are cleaning locus E626 down to bedrock as we move slowly westward. With E625 and E626 removed from areas adjacent to wall E609 it appears that this wall is not founded on bedrock like the eastern room wall, but similarly to locus E616 its several courses sit on silty deposits.
