7.6.06, Today will be slow day. I'm not feeling well, and the ground is still wet. We've opened (officially) Locus 6 and are taking it down to Locus 4, 5, 7, etc. The artifact density is very low, so we only screened in the morning due to the mud and by afternoon did not continue screening. In Locus 8, there is some disturbance by animals throughout the wall. The South edge also has some kind of burnt plastic in it--probably not from the LBA. The wall in Locus 6 that runs E/W seems much more convincing and is supported by stones underneath. Locus 6 is covered in rocks, so we're being careful, but also taking some out.
