7/14/2006, Bags were sent for cleaning. It looks like the S wall of the trench may extend into Locus 8, which would give us stratified EB rooms (the wall is slightly eschew). There also may be a wall that runs across (N/S) the trench, or it's a group of rocks that have been caught by the fortress wall. The relationship with the fortress wall will be interesting to see. We've taken a lot of rocks out and have pushed back Locus 9 into the N wall of the trench. We are also working in Locus 8, cleaning all the rocks for possible architecture. We cleaned Locus 9 and took the final photo. Late into the afternoon we began to take the ceramics out, but ran out of time and covered them overnight with celophane.
