7.18.06, We've removed some of the rocks from the EB wall that runs N/S across the trench. Some appeared to be fall, which is why they were taken out. We're also removing rocks that enter into the EB room, to try to understand the architecture. This area was given a new loci--locus 15. We're hitting what may be floor in locus 14, but it's very spotty and hard to see. Perhaps we still have a ways to go. All dirt is being screening. In Locus 15 there is an obsidian work area--this is given locus 16 designation. Locus 16 is on the EB floor. We had to end work early due to the extremely strong wind.
