Work is continuing in all trenches now that Belinda has returned.
Trench C3 is concentrating in the c quad. A small cluster of stones in west corner may prove interesting.
Trench C4 also continuing through wash but impeded by medium sized stones. Armine is removing these carefully as it is possible a wall is there somewhere.
Trench NT1 Continues through wash. The curved wall in the SE corner has a second course and so we are continuing in main area of the trench until we get a better understanding. Materials continue and include a small piece of shell.
Trench NT3 continues through mottled wash layer. Coincidentally, Belinda has also found a small piece of shell with a hole drilled in it.
Trench WT3 now has at least 2 walls visible that are continuing. 1 wall divides the trench in half and Ian has loci proceeding on both sides. The northern half has a rich dark brown soil and large cobbles. The south has a lighter soil and more clay-ey.
Rain arrived at mid-day and was sufficiently steady and unrerlenting so that we had to head home.
