07/19/06.Ando came today with an insanely large truck to move rocks at the cromlechs and at the western settlement.Burial 3: he pulled off the smaller stone in the north east, the one to the south, and eventually the insanely large one in the east. It took out a good chunk of the other stones to the north of it in the cromlech. He couldn't get it any further than just north of it. It was also quite deep and it now looks like there is a crater in the center of burial 3.Burial 2: Since he was here, I decided to have Ando take off 2 more of the smaller capstones in the south that we had originally left on since they were not very secure any longer... and then the very large one in the west. It took out part of the edge of the trench and also looks like a giant crater.Burial 4: photographed and started taking measuerments for drawing.Burial 5: photographed locus 1.At the end of the day archaeology looked, perhaps, a bit more distructive than usual.
