07/24/06.B2: I divided locus 7 in half so they can working part of it without it taking foreveer to make level. 2 workers continued to make it level and then I had the start excavating the dark matrix in the easten central part, locus8 is the eastern half and locus 9 the western. The dark matrix extends from 8 into 9. I am inclined to think that this isn't anything since it also has a very high percentage of gravel. Not sure that there is anything else here unless we take off the stones in the southe
