07/24/06 Today was a relatively uneventful day. Work proceeded in WSI locus 14 as well as in WSI locus 6, where we are defining the exterior face of the southwest wall of room I. WSG was put on hold. In WSH, I created several new built loci for the three walls of this room. We also finally drew, photographed, and then removed the alignment of rocks along the northeast wall of the room. These proved not to be covering a burial of any sort. The locus ended in bedrock -- decomposing rock and packed clay -- within about 40 cm. However, in the section of this locus it seems as though there are at least two and maybe three floor surfaces visible. Will confirm this with Adam tomorrow and consider an expansion of locus 30.
