7.31.06, Very busy day in T20. We're getting stressed about how much work is left to do in the trench, but the work we're doing is going fast and well. Samvel didn't work today, so Armine gave us a worker (Aliosha) from her trench. We're digging with shovels--approx. 5cm in Locus 22. While doing this, we uncovered huge pithos pieces, so we're taking it down with trowels there. Towards the end of the day, we also discovered burnt clay, which seems to indicate a floor, however, I think erosion has caused part of the floor to be washed away. Locus 24 has a tremendous amount of ceramic. We've left most in situ over night covered. There seems to be multiple floors that are being cleaned before they're being reclayed. Which is weird, but great for our research.
