8.10.06 Amazingly productive day, in many respects. Lori was at Tsilkar, so she left instructions to finish flattening WSH, which Roman and company did in less than an hour. They went on to begin to work the SW wall of WSG and are nearly finished with that. In WSI, work went a little slowly, though steadily. They found most of a small, shallow vessel but removed it and brought it over to me, so it was unfortunately decontextualized. They showed me approximately from where it was taken, near the SE wall, but it looked to me like it was probably not on the floor, anyway. I hope. In WSC3, they finished flattening the entire room and then we cut the room in half and are digging the NE portion. They worked like the wind and managed to dig the NE portion (now locus 4) down about 20 - 30 cm. We also finished cleaning WSC2, except for the pit and the pile of dirt near the steps, which we created while cleaning because the nasilke and two wheelbarrows were used in the rush to finish taking down WSC3 locus 4.
