8/3/06, Today we have 8 people working in the trench, so the work is going great. We're continuing to use the smaller screens to screen the dirt in Locus 25. We're also taking 3cm from locus 24 and using shovels in locus 22, near the west edge of the trench. Soil samples are being taken from the pithos area. There are two walls on either side of Locus 25, which makes it appear that a very small room was constructed for the pithos. There continues to be a ton of ceramics in locus 24. We've opened up a new locus, 26, which is west of locus 25, in the low density area. The architecture continues to be very puzzling.
