8.4.06, We're continuing to take down locus 24 and locus 25. 25 is full of rocks. There seems to be two walls on either side of the pithos jar, which appares to be in situ. We're cleaning with trwols in this area, beginning at the West edge of the trench and moving to the East. We have seven guys, but only two trowels and the whole trench needs trowels right now. There continues to be a significant quantity of ceramics in locus 24. We've opened up a new locus, locus 26, which is the area west of the pithos jar. In general this has been a very low density area for artifacts of all kinds.
