Morning: PA supervising at Tsakahovit.
RB and I went to Gegharot to prepare for excavations. Our objectives are: 1) expand T2 to define Terrace room. 2) locate EBA settlement in accord with AH's dissertation proposal.
After our organizational work, we drove to the NW corner of plain on exploratory survey. Located on fortress just 3-4 km West of Pamb Armyanskii. Site has a nicely carpentered circumferential wall with a curvilinear buttress on East end. A good view to Berdidosh but no surface materials. Architecture suggests fort is a late construction.
Afternoon: worked w/ aerial photos and map. Group has full day at Tsakahovit.
