Adam and I started our day at the mayor's office, to discuss the vandalism. He said if we wanted to file a formal complaint, we would have to go through the police, and that we should do that with Ruben. At the site, we got rained out in the late afternoon, but then stayed at Gagig's house for a while and went back to the site when the rain stopped so that Hasmik could continue drawing. yet we managed to get some work done. In WSI, we continued to excavate locus 33, the pit in the east corner, which appears to be rather shallow, ending in the black sandy matrix found at the bottom of locus 32 in that corner. In the course of excavating this pit-like feature, we encountered a darker strip of gravely clay, compared to the siltier clay in the rest of the pit. Not quite sure what this is. In WSC3, we continued in locus 9. We also resumed cleaning in WSI locus 6 for final photography and for Hasmik. In WSG, I started cleaning for final photography, and then Adam and I decided that I need to take locus 18 down across the entire trench. Problem is, no time to do this since Hasmik is going to need to start drawing in this trench soon. Might need to resume the thorough cleaning of room G after Hasmik finishes drawing the room. Before it started raining, Adam excavated the non-pit in the southern quadrant of WSG. I created this as locus 26.
