Morning rounds:
ET01: shot in corners w/ theodolite. Removed some large stones in order to clear space to dig. Obsidian density very high-one bag before coffee-but other materials moderate (but increasing?).
C3: Breaking large rocks in Area A. Will then clear to floor. Continuing excavation in B and D.
NT01: Drew B/C balk section and removing balk. Am up to date w/ Lauren's loci and trench is largely finished so her departure tomorrow will hopefully not be too disruptive.
C5: In SE part, opened floor associated w/ late wall. In SW, Stone cutter breaking large rock that we hope will allow us to view the LBA(?) construction w/o removing late wall.
Afternoon:
C5: stone cutter removed half of problem rock-removing other half might undermine wall.
NT1: removing B/C balk.
C3: excavation in Areas B and D.
ET1: S section has had a significant increase in material density but it seems that we are coming down on bedrock here already w/o encountering a clear level. Will expose floor or bedrock here and then continue in N half.
