We continued to take down T22’s extension, by trowel and shovel like yesterday. There was a lot of material in the S part of the extension near the rocks that sort of look like a “wall” in the eastern portion of the extension. A number of large pithos sherds were found. In the room, due to a miscommunication between myself and my workers, unfortunately, a hole was dug under the rocks in the extension. This resulted in the discovery of at least two (possibly whole) vessels, and a strange, smooth rock. However, since this discovery was considerably below the level of the surface we have now with the clay basin on it, I covered everything back up again and will dig it when we actually get to that point.
