Today we cleared the vast majority of the stones (and clay things) from the center of the room, near the clay basin. The room itself is now basically on the same level, which is fan-freaking-tastic. The area north of the room is now Locus 12, and Locus 13 is the area west of the room, with the west wall being Locus 14. The room itself is now completely Locus 8, as Locus 10 has now been dug down to 8’s level. This digging-down of the entire room, plus Locus 12, plus drawing a section of the charcoal lenses in the N baulk took the extent of the day.
