07.14.2008 At B06 the capstones were taken off on sunday evening. We started locus 4 and 5 within what appears to be a cist chamber. RB came out and oversaw the excavations while I drew the section for B07. We stopped excavating at about 11:45am after we had found 1 bone and were working in a very wet clay matrix. We didn't think there would be time to finish in the rest of the day and will start in tomorrow. At B08 RB was worried that there wasn't actually a cromlech in the area we had laid out, so I moved B08 to the next one where it seems a little more clear that there are 2 very large capstones. It is a slightly larger unit, 5.5m x 6.0m but not clear yet which stones may belong to it. We may expand it out further back towards the original B08 if they are overlapping. I finished filling in cobbles on the plan map of B07 while the rest of the team worked on taking off the topsoil of the new B08.
