Place: Ar/Ts.WSD.17

This locus demarcates an area just adjacent to the southeast baulk of the trench, in the center. To the east it is next to locus 16. It is also adjacent to locus 15, but it does not reach all the way to the southwest. Since this area of the trench has a medium brown clayish matrix, I will create a separate locus for the south corner. The matrix of locus 17 is a dark brown silt, quite rocky. In other words, it is quite similar to what was locus 08 above.
