This locus designates the narrow sliver that runs parallel to locus 31. It is defined by the stones of locus 31 to the northeast and by another, lower alignment of parallel running stones to the southwest. Perhaps these latter stones will prove to be fall once we go deeper in the southwest and establish that they are "floating", but it seems unlikely given their linear nature. The locus was shallow, bottoming out on a number of rocks. The matrix is a tan medium brown clay and silt. In the process of excavating this locus, we seem to have reached the bottom course of stones that make up the outer edge of locus 31.
