This locus designates a very small sliver of an area that is demarcated on four sides by stones. The two longer sides are defined by rows of stones that run perpendicular to the northeast wall, the one on the easterly side defining the edge of locus 42 and the one on the other side defining the edge of 41. On the two shorter sides, the locus is closed off by single stones. The matrix is a tan silty clay.
