This locus (the same as WSAD 23) lies directly underneath three stones that made up the top course of the SE wall in WSAC, in the southern corner, which are fill for a doorway in the partition wall between WSAC and WSAD. The locus falls directly on the line between the two operations, so both loci correspond to the same area. This locus constitutes the dark, loamy soil of the overburden/wash.
