This locus embraces the poorly constructed closure of the passageway leading from WSM3 to WSO (?). It is roughly two courses high and is very sloppily built, to the extent that it was starting to fall apart before we excavated it. This feature must be later than the main walls of the room M) and the passageway, given the different masonry. The matrix amidst these stones is assigned to the same locus, as is the earth on which the bottom course of the "wall" was resting, which was itself about 20cm above the bottom elevation of WSM3 locus 3.
