Locus 4 is a very rocky area, with small stones, SW of the SW wall of the \\\"room\\\". An astragalus was recovered from the soil above this locus. It is immediately SW of locus 2. The NW and SW boundaries of the locus are the edges of the operation. The SE extent of the locus is defined by the place where the SW wall reaches the edge of the trench. It is possible that it is related to a possible curved wall of stone to the SW of the operation.
