Locus 06 was created to even out the slope in Locus 4. Please note that since the E corner of Locus 4 was dug too deep, in locus 6, no digging occured in the east corner because it was already 15 cm lower than it should have been. Locus 6 had no small finds and I did not do any soil samples or take charcoal samples. Locus 6 is located in the NE part of the trench within the interior walls. It is adjacent to locus 5. See drawing from July 6 to understand the location of locus 6. It is encompassed by rocks. on all sides with the exception of the SE edge of the locus. I can see about 2 courses of the wall. The soil is still pretty black and loose. This appears to be a layer of wash. The workers are only supposed to dig 10 cm down in the eastern corner of the previous locus and for this reason, the locus was created to even out the bottom of the trench.
