I created this locus after troweling out the trench. I found that I wanted to expose the medium brown soil and get out the dark soil that made up the previous Loci. Therefore, I created this locus to deal with the dark black loose soil in the \\\\\\\"center\\\\\\\" of the room. This locus created a ridge bisecting trench from North to East. The ridge in the north part of the trench was a lighter soil that appeared clay like. So this was a distinction between the areas of the trench. Locus 14 is dark soil. I went down 10 cm. Along the NW wall, silt run off looks medium brown. We found a small find in this locus. Still in wash deposit. Small find found near the center at 105 BD3 and 1.25 from the NE wall and 2.10 from the NW wall. Locus 14 runs along the the whole trench along the NE wall and is enclosed by the SE wall and the NW wall. The soil in locus 14 is getting lighter as more dirt is removed. I decided to trowel and sweep all of locus 14 before taking a picture. There are 6 boulders located in this locus that needed to be removed.
